FFRFMCC “Meet & Greet” Reception for Richard Carrier
The FFRFMCC will host a "Meet & Greet" reception for historian, philosopher and author Dr. Richard Carrier on Sunday, Nov. 2nd in the private party room of the Hopleaf Bar & Restaurant in Chicago. The reception will include a buffet of the Hopleaf's famous sandwiches and mussels! All food is included in the admission price of $20. Please join us as Mr. Tyler Keillor, paleo-artist from the University of Chicago who was responsible for sculpting the life-sized reconstruction of Tiktaalik, will be on hand to discuss the process used in fossil labs to make specimens ready for research and how paleo-art can help public understanding of natural history.
