2016 FFRFMCC Darwin Day Celebration

For this year's event, we are pleased to present the 2009 feature film, "Creation," starring Paul Bettany as Charles Darwin and Jennifer Connelly as his wife Emma.  The film is a dramatic and captivating portrait of Darwin as he is driven to finish "On the Origin of Species," despite efforts from those who seek to prevent its publishing, including his devoutly religious wife. Call for Volunteers for the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois

The service will be a free kidney disease and diabetes screening for individuals in need through the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.  This will run in conjunction with a food pantry that operates at the same location, and will offer free medical tests and consultations with a doctor or nurse for those who utilize the pantry.
